This program is one of the most powerful chess engines available, fully implementing all official Chess Rules. It recognizes draws by stalemate, insufficient material, the fifty-move rule, and threefold repetition. If you're a seasoned player, challenge yourself against our chess engine at the higher levels (16-20). For beginners looking to enhance their skills, levels 1-10 will help improve your play, stability, attention, and concentration.
To make a move, simply touch a piece, and all available moves will be highlighted; then, select one of these highlighted moves. If you wish to start a new game against the computer from the initial position, navigate to Computer, choose your desired level, select your color, and begin playing. For games starting from a specific position, set up the board, go to Computer, select your level, and start the game. If you want the computer to play both sides, set up the position, go to Computer, select BothSide, and choose your level.
Sharpen your skills with over 460 Chess Puzzles. You can unlock three Chess Puzzles with a single click on an ad. Interacting with ads will also enable move hints and the ability to undo moves, perfect for learning and refining your strategy. If you prefer an ad-free experience, consider installing the paid version of Deep Chess.
To analyze your games, first enter your game by moving for both sides, then tap the Reset button, save the game, load it, and use the Hint button, which becomes available after clicking on ads.
Enhance your gameplay with PolyGlot (.bin) opening books support. To use this feature, ensure your SD Card is mounted on your device and download the PolyGlot (.bin) book to your Downloads or Documents folder. To add the book, tap on the "Files" button, then "Add Book," and select your book. We highly recommend using this option for faster play at higher levels.
You can export your saved games as PGN files to your SD Card's Downloads folder. Achieve milestones and earn:
