S-Tier: Top-Tier Performers
This tier contains the most impactful characters, excelling across various game modes.
- Lily May: A must-have Wilder character, offering significant damage and utility. Excellent in PvP, PvE, and Dream Realm.
- Thoran: The best F2P tank, especially valuable early game. Remains relevant even with Phraesto available.
- Reinier: A top-priority support, crucial for both PvE and PvP (especially Dream Realm and Arena).
- Koko, Smokey & Meerky: Essential supports used across all game modes.
- Odie: Excellent for Dream Realm and all PvE modes.
- Eironn: A cornerstone of dominant Arena teams (paired with Damien and Arden).
- Tasi: A versatile Wilder character with strong crowd control, excelling in most modes (except potentially Dream Realm, though this may change).
- Harak: A powerful Hypogean/Celestial warrior whose strength increases throughout battles. Difficult for F2P players to obtain.
A-Tier: High-Value Assets
These characters are strong and versatile, often filling specific roles exceptionally well.
- Lyca & Vala: Excellent users of the Haste stat, boosting attack frequency. Lyca's party-wide Haste buff is particularly useful, while Vala excels in single-target damage. Lyca can struggle in PvP.
- Antandra: A solid alternative tank to Thoran, offering taunts, shields, and crowd control.
- Viperian: A strong Graveborn character with energy-draining abilities and AoE attacks, excelling outside of Dream Realm. Synergizes well with Thoran and Cecia.
- Alsa: A powerful DPS mage, particularly effective in PvP with Eironn. Easier to build than Carolina and fills a similar role.
- Phraesto: A durable tank, but lacks damage output. Prioritize Reinier before investing heavily in Phraesto.
- Ludovic: A strong Graveborn healer, synergizing well with Talene and performing well in PvP.
- Cecia: While a strong Marksman, her late-game value has diminished with newer characters.
- Sonja: A recent addition, offering respectable damage and utility for the Lightborne faction.
B-Tier: Solid, But Replaceable
These characters are useful for filling roles, but are generally outclassed by A and S-tier options. Prioritize upgrading to higher-tier characters.
- Valen & Brutus: Strong early-game DPS options.
- Granny Dahnie: A decent tank alternative if you lack Thoran or Antandra.

- Florabelle: A decent secondary DPS, but requires significant investment.
- Soren: A decent PvP character, but not optimal for Dream Realm or other PvE content.
