Baldur's Gate 3 offers a wealth of romance options, but some, like the encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress, are easily missed. This quick romance unfolds during a pivotal moment in the game, making it a hidden gem for many players. This guide will help you locate Naoise and navigate this unique romantic encounter.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Finding Naoise at Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet Naoise, you'll need to reach the early stages of Act III. While traveling towards Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your first visit to this town will involve meeting Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point to quickly reach Sharess' Caress.

Locating the Nymph's Grotto:

Naoise is found in the Nymph's Grotto, a chamber on the second floor, just beyond the door leading to the outside area. This door is easily identifiable by the green light beside it and the ivy on the walls. The door is locked, but a successful lockpick check (DC 10 or higher) will grant you access.

How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Initiating the Romance:

Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, engaged in an intimate moment. Interrupting them will upset Jara, triggering a dialogue where a tadpole interaction occurs, leading to Jara's transformation into a Mindflayer. Defeat Jara to proceed. Naoise will then reveal her unexpected attraction to Mindflayers. Choosing dialogue options carefully is key. For example, selecting "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset." can lead to a positive outcome. A successful Insight check will further indicate Naoise's receptiveness to romance. Following this, options like "What did you have in mind?" and "Close your eyes and listen" will progress the romance scene.

This romance unfolds within your mind. Naoise will ask you to choose what you "will be," presenting options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or ending the encounter. Selecting "Contented," for instance, leads to a brief romantic scene. Note that this encounter is unique—Naoise will only offer this "rapture" once. Even if your character is already in a relationship (as in the example with Karlach), this encounter seems to have no negative repercussions with other companions.

After the encounter, Shadowheart will reward you with the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. Successfully romancing Naoise grants the Rapture boon, providing a passive +1d6 bonus to various ability checks.
