Baldur's Gate 3's upcoming Patch 7 promises a chilling new addition: terrifyingly evil endings. A recent sneak peek reveals a glimpse into one such conclusion, focusing on the Dark Urge.
Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7: A New Level of Evil
An Ending Bhaal Would Approve Of
Larian Studios unveiled a 52-second cinematic trailer on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing a new Dark Urge ending. This preview depicts the grim consequences of a completely evil playthrough.
SPOILER ALERT!
The trailer shows the Dark Urge's companions meeting a horrifying end as their leader succumbs to their father's influence, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The companions become the first victims of Bhaal's reign of terror. The Dark Urge uses mind control to force their companions to their deaths. A chilling voiceover declares, "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before the Dark Urge suffers a similar fate.
This is just one of several new evil endings slated for Patch 7. Larian's April community update promised "improved evil endings...for even darker conclusions." The best part? These endings aren't exclusive to Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings included the Dark Urge wading through a sea of blood and corpses, and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" under the True Absolute.
What Else Awaits in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7?
