"Blastoise Returns in Pokémon TCG Pocket's Latest Wonder Events"

by Aria Apr 19,2025

Pokémon TCG Pocket is set to continue its suite of Wonder Pick events this year, and the latest event features none other than the fan-favorite water-type Pokémon, Blastoise. This event, running until January 21st, offers players a chance to grab exclusive cards and Blastoise-themed cosmetics, including a coin and playmat.

Wonder Pick events allow players to choose from a selection of five random cards drawn from booster packs opened by players worldwide. In addition to the usual cards, participants can complete missions to earn shop tokens, which can be used to acquire the Blastoise-themed items.

Blastoise, one of the original Pokémon from the first generation, needs little introduction to longtime fans. Alongside the new cosmetics, the event introduces a display board backdrop and binder cover, highlighting both Trainer Blue and Blastoise.

For those who missed out on the previous Wonder Pick events featuring Charmander and Squirtle, there's still time to participate. However, if you've already collected those cards, this Blastoise event offers even more exciting additions to your collection.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has been eagerly anticipated for its mobile adaptation of the classic card game, which has been a significant part of the expansive Pokémon franchise.
