Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, with a new launch date now confirmed for January 28th, 2025. This applies to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The delay, announced shortly before the original release window, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.
While the January 28th date is now set, a PlayStation Store page for the game remains absent. Pre-ordering or wishlisting isn't yet possible. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor’s Strong Critical Reception
Botany Manor received widespread praise upon its initial release, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation). Its charming atmosphere, intricate puzzles, and engaging exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation is poised to significantly enhance the console's already impressive puzzle game library.
With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will finally be available across all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th also marks the PlayStation Store debut of other notable titles, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
