The AMD Ryzen 7 5700 processor features a max turbo frequency of 4.6GHz with 8 cores and 16 threads. While not the fastest processor available, it's perfectly adequate for gaming, as performance is largely determined by the GPU. Note that the motherboard supports DDR4 memory only. This means DDR4 RAM is more affordable than DDR5 if you need to expand your RAM capacity later. However, upgrading to DDR5 would require a motherboard replacement. With this CPU and GPU combination, a DDR5 upgrade won't yield a noticeable performance boost.
