CHASERS: Mastering Gameplay - A Beginner's No Gacha Hack & Slash Guide

by Blake Apr 02,2025

Welcome to CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash, a thrilling, fast-paced action game where skill is the key to victory. Set in a world ravaged by endless conflict, you take control of elite warriors known as Chasers, tasked with eliminating corrupted beings that threaten the realms' balance. Unlike other games, CHASERS does away with pay-to-win mechanics; every character, weapon, and upgrade is earned through gameplay alone. This beginner's guide will break down the core gameplay mechanics and game modes in simple terms to help you progress quickly. Let's dive in!

Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS

CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is an enticing action RPG set in a 3D simulated environment where you engage in intense, fast-paced combat. You'll control a variety of characters, officially termed "Chasers," which you unlock as you advance through the game. The combat mechanics are typical of modern ARPGs but with unique twists in ability execution. During battles, you'll notice two bars at the bottom of your screen: the HP (Health Points) bar and the Energy bar. Your HP bar indicates your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can no longer fight.

The Energy bar shows your current energy level, which is consumed when using your Chaser's abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be quickly replenished using Energy drones found in dungeons. Controls for your Chasers are managed via a virtual movement wheel on mobile devices, or for a more efficient experience on PC, you can use BlueStacks with keyboard and mouse controls. A unique feature in CHASERS is the "Elphis" magic, which allows your Chasers to use all their abilities without consuming energy. This acts as a turbo mode, enabling you to focus on executing devastating damage combos. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling it's ready for activation.

Each Chaser has unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, meaning you can't reuse them until the cooldown period ends. The ultimate ability, the most powerful in a Chaser's arsenal, recharges as your Chaser deals and takes damage, glowing once fully charged.

Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS

Strategy and team composition are crucial in CHASERS. You can deploy up to three unique Chasers in battles. You have the option to manually select your Chasers or let the AI automatically fill the slots with the strongest available Chasers based on their power level. A standout feature of the combat system is the ability to switch between Chasers seamlessly during battle, with all deployed Chasers visible on the right-hand side of your screen.

Leveling Up and Enhancing Your Chasers

  • Leveling Up: Use your accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities to level up your Chasers. Each level increase boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Chasers can be leveled up to a certain cap, after which they must be advanced to further increase the level cap.

  • Skilling Up: Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This not only increases the damage multiplier of skills but also shortens their cooldown periods.

  • Breakthrough: This feature requires duplicate copies of the same Chaser, which can be purchased from the shop using premium currency. Each duplicate allows you to break through, enhancing current abilities, stats, or unlocking new ones. Chasers can undergo breakthroughs up to six times.

For the ultimate gaming experience, play CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, paired with your keyboard and mouse for precision and control.
