Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues its remarkable success on Steam, maintaining its position as one of the platform's most-played games. The developer, Tyler, has rolled out the first major post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the beta branch. This update will be on the beta branch for a couple of days before its full release, and players can opt-in to try it out early.
According to Tyler's announcement on the game's Steam page, the beta version of Schedule I 0.3.4 does not include all the features planned for the full release. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]," Tyler noted, emphasizing the urgency to release the beta to allow thorough testing of new wall-mounted objects and the pawn shop interface.

Upon its launch, Schedule I became the top-selling game on Steam, surpassing popular titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time drug dealers and work their way up to become kingpins, managing drug manufacturing and distribution in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Expansion of the empire involves acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.
Developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, the game's explosive launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler expressed his surprise at the response on Reddit, stating, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
