How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
To embark on this feline adventure, you'll need to journey to the Omi region, typically around the midpoint of the game's narrative. Ensure your characters are well-prepared and powered up before heading northeast towards Omi.
Your destination is Lake Biwa, a large body of water central to the region. To reach the island, it's advisable to find a boat from settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim, though using a boat is more efficient.
Navigate to the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, northwest of Azuchi. This is Okishima, where you'll find a Kakurega for resting. The island's docks are surrounded by drying fish, a sure sign that it's home to plenty of animals.
To truly immerse yourself in the cat-filled experience on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't miss the chance to pet them and add them to your collection for use in your Hideout, especially the rare kittens that are unique to this location.
While the Leap of Faith adds new locations to your map, the real treasure of Okishima is its feline inhabitants. After exploring and taking the Leap of Faith, you can revisit the cats at any time. You'll also return to Okishima later in Yasuke's storyline, adding another layer of excitement to your journey.
