Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling story and unique mechanics create a truly immersive experience. A key element of this experience is the Tachyon Medal, a crucial item obtained through a challenging late-game side quest. This guide details how to acquire and utilize this powerful artifact.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's acquisition is intricately woven into the main storyline. Its existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it serves as the final item obtained before the final showdown. To obtain it, progress through the narrative until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network.
Within Sanctum's Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This encounter requires strategic preparation. God's Predator frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, capable of draining 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities are essential here, and equipping Petrification Null gear significantly improves survivability.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Cherryl, with her potent Concentrate and Charge attacks, also provides significant damage output. After defeating God's Predator, navigate to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, a chest on your right holds the coveted Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's true power unfolds after completing two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and conquering the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear across eight locations, with the first two integrated into the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeating these bosses in the prescribed order, culminating in Shangri-La, unlocks three chests beneath the Altar. One of these chests contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Once all chests are opened, a glowing door appears, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are enhanced, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially for players who have completed all side quests. Using the Tachyon Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a renewed journey to save the Human Realm.
