FF16 PC Port Suffers with Performance, While PS5 Version Encounters Visual GlitchesFF16 PC Experiences with Performance, Even on High-End Hardware
According to John Papadopoulos of DSOGaming, achieving a consistent 60 fps at native 4K resolution with maxed out settings appears to be a challenge for Final Fantasy XVI on PC. This is surprising news considering the RTX 4090 is one of the most powerful consumer graphics cards available on the market.
However, there is a glimmer of hope for PC players. Enabling DLSS III Frame Generation with DLAA can reportedly boost frame rates over 80 fps at all times. DLSS III is a new technology from NVIDIA that uses AI to generate additional frames, essentially creating smoother gameplay. DLAA, on the other hand, is an anti-aliasing technique that can improve image quality without sacrificing performance as much as traditional anti-aliasing methods.
