Fortnite is gearing up for an epic Star Wars celebration with its upcoming season, dubbed Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2. This season promises an immersive experience with a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a thrilling five-part saga packed with surprises. One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, adding a unique twist to the game's universe.
The announcement, made during Star Wars Celebration, also teased more Star Wars-themed content coming in May, including the integration of Force Lightning as a new in-game ability. This season's offerings will extend beyond the Battle Pass, featuring weekly gameplay content that builds up to a live, end-of-season narrative event that promises to be a game-changer.

The Battle Pass will include iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups such as Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. Players can look forward to new Item Shop offerings, including Mace Windu, and the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the Star Wars experience within Fortnite.
The five-part saga will unfold weekly, each with a distinct theme:
- Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
- The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
- Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
- Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
- Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025
This saga will culminate in a live in-game narrative event, where players will feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
