Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be delighted with the new figures included in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin is getting a new figure, and series protagonist Cal Kestis is featured in a three-pack set with Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal comes with multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. According to Houle, this particular look was a top priority for the release.

"We just wanted to have fun with it," Houle told IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we revealed in the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard later. For us, the primary look is almost the handlebar, and it's just so much fun."

As for Merrin, it was essential to include her alongside Cal, given her significance in the Fallen Order/Survivor saga. The challenge was to accurately depict her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff explained. "We're glad we finally got to Merrin, but doing that Force effect, the green blast, all the great detail of that new costume and the face tattoos with the inkjet—there's some beautiful subtlety there. She's a really cool character, and we know fans are invested in her, so being able to build out that world is exciting."

This year's lineup also includes two familiar faces: Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous figures released over the years, Houle believes there's still room for improvement.

"We haven't done them in a long time," Houle said. "They needed an update, so we gave them fully new tools. They're brand new with the latest articulation, allowing fans to celebrate and enjoy these classic characters with the latest technology. We've made quite a few updates on top of the articulation. We learned a lot from the Wookiees we've done, especially with their long hair."

Houle continued, "Despite the long hair, using softer plastics allows Chewbacca to pivot and move his head seamlessly, which was really important to us. We added articulation to Han too, but we didn't include a thigh break to keep the red bars on his right thigh clean. Instead, we added articulation to the top of the boot."

One of the most striking figures in this lineup is The Ronin, inspired by the anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions. True to the series, The Ronin is a black-and-white figure with only his red katana lightsaber adding color. As a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the small details right.

"I love that we kept to it," Houle said. "We took learnings from Japanese culture, the way the box is built, how premium it looks, the magnets that let it open, the clean look, the watercoloring, and the hidden accessories on top of the box. There was so much attention from packaging to design to engineering."

Reiff added, "Even the Japanese language for this exclusive packaging, which we don't normally do, was important because we're here in Japan. We wanted to embrace that and create a special package that was just in Japanese language."

Finally, Hasbro also unveiled a stunningly detailed Death Trooper helmet for their 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line during their Celebration panel.

"It's a great fully new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff said. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie with the weathering, the lighting detail, and you can control the chin lights and the spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. It's a great addition to our line. Working with Lucasfilm, we used original files to nail all the details of this helmet and added our own touches to the inside, which the real ones never had."
