How To Solve the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
After navigating through the Sacred Wounds puzzle and escaping the Underground section beneath the Vatican, Indiana Jones, or Indy, secures a scroll from the Giant’s tomb. This scroll directs him to the next crucial location: the Fountain of Confession. As you progress, ensure to capture images of every sign, statue, and mural to accumulate Adventure Points, which you can later use to enhance your skills.
To reach the Fountain of Confession, exit Antonio’s office, similar to the start of the Sacred Wounds mission. Utilize the map in your journal to follow the waypoints, leading you to a set of stairs in the courtyard. These stairs will guide you to the entrance of the Fountain of Confession puzzle.
Begin by approaching the chest located to the right of the fountain, near a construction area. Inside, you'll find the fountain key, which grants access to the adjacent storage room.
Enter the storage room and use Indy’s whip to ascend to the building's top. From there, swing across to a window that leads back outside to the fountain's summit. You'll notice two dragon statues facing forward. Initially, you can’t interact with the first dragon statue. Instead, swing to the second dragon statue and grab the protruding dragon claw to activate a lever.
Use the lever to adjust the dragon statue's direction, aiming to align it with the opposite dragon. After positioning the first dragon, swing back to the other and attempt to do the same. However, you'll find its claw missing. Look down to the left of the scaffolding to spot the detached claw. Rappel down with your whip, triggering a cutscene where Gina Lombardi interrupts, causing Indy to fall. After the cutscene, retrieve the dragon claw.
Ascend again, insert the claw into the dragon statue, and adjust it to face the other dragon. This action will rotate the ground floor's Fountain of Confession statue towards the wall. With the dragon statues resolved, rappel back down to continue the puzzle.
Back at the fountain, use Indy’s whip to pull the statue, which will move the wall and reveal a gate surrounded by three statues: an angel on the left, a man on the right, and a smaller statue at the center.

Use the handles on the wall's top left and right to control the figure's movement, ensuring it reaches the right side to complete this segment.
With the second puzzle solved, the left statue will move, and the gate will unlock. To finish the puzzle, simply push the remaining central statue through the gate. This action will activate a spiral stairway, allowing you to proceed to the next part of the game.
