How to Get Napoleon, Emperor
The Emperor Napoleon persona is unlocked by linking your 2K account to Civ 7. Here's how:
- Visit portal.2k.com. Log in or create a new 2K account.
- Link your 2K account to your gaming platform via Connections -> Account Overview.

The Emperor Napoleon specializes in commerce and military strength, boasting the unique ability "Empereur des Francais": "Gain a Unique Sanction, Continental System, which reduces the Trade Route limit of the targeted Leader to all other Leaders by 1, causes a massive Relationship penalty, and costs more to reject. +8 Gold per Age for every Leader you are Unfriendly or Hostile with. Can reject Endeavors for free.” His agenda, "Napoleonic Code," favors players with small armies and dislikes those with large navies.
How to Get Napoleon, Revolutionary
Prefer the Revolutionary Napoleon? Simply ensure you've played Civilization 6 previously. Follow the 2K account linking steps above, making sure to link both Civ 6 and Civ 7. Upon launching Civ 7, the Revolutionary Napoleon will be available. Note: You don't need to have played Civ 6 on the same platform as Civ 7.
The Revolutionary Napoleon is a cultural/militaristic leader with the ability "La Grande Armee": "+1 Movement for all Land Units. Defeating an enemy Unit provides Culture equal to 50% of its Combat Strength.” His agenda, "Culture from Conquest," prefers players with high Culture Per Turn and dislikes those with many alliances.
