Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold battle pass, promising a thrilling season dominated by Dracula and featuring a compelling storyline involving Doctor Strange and the Fantastic Four.

This season's battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a wealth of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetics or battle passes. The pass itself boasts 10 exclusive skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key advantage: the pass doesn't expire, allowing completion at your own pace.

The trailer showcases exciting new skins: Magneto as King Magnus (House of M inspired), a Western-themed Rocket Raccoon, a medieval Iron Man reminiscent of Dark Souls, a vibrant Peni Parker, and a green-and-gold Namor.

Here's a complete list of the Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's dark aesthetic is evident in the skins, with Wolverine channeling Van Helsing and a blood moon casting its shadow over New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin and Moon Knight's black and white attire contribute to the ominous atmosphere. Scarlet Witch and Adam Warlock maintain their signature styles with dark accents.

While the battle pass is generating considerable excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some players. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, anticipation remains high for the new season's content and future updates from NetEase Games.
