Quick Links

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, each dungeon presents formidable foes that serve as mini-bosses, challenging players even as they grind for XP. These enemies often appear as red markers in the overworld Fairy Sight, indicating a tough Squad combat encounter. Among these challenging adversaries is the Faithwight Magileto, found in the Spire Of Blind Faith. This enemy is notoriously difficult at this stage of the game, demanding a well-crafted strategy and a bit of luck to overcome.

The Faithwight Magileto is a level 50 enemy capable of summoning additional level 50 foes, making it advisable to engage only if your party is at least level 45. This enemy wields potent dark and light magic, capable of targeting individual characters or the entire party. Its arsenal includes Megidolaon, a devastating spell that inflicts massive damage across the board. Additionally, it benefits from passive buffs that amplify the damage of dark, light, and electric elements. The Faithwight Magileto can also use Soul Scream to gain four Press Turn icons in a single turn and summon level 50 skeletons to bolster its forces.

These summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks and dark magic, along with powerful buffs and one of the game's most effective healing spells, which they can use to restore the Faithwight Magileto to full health. Fortunately, these minions share the same weakness to Strike as the main enemy, making focused Strike attacks crucial for victory.

How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto is a daunting task, even at level 50, and nearly impossible at lower levels. To enhance your chances, consider the following preparations:

  • Acquire Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight.
  • Obtain Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
  • Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
  • Utilize the Warlock Archetype, which resists both Dark and Light damage.
  • Employ the Thief Archetype, which resists Dark damage.
  • Carry Tetrabreak to counter any summoned enemy using Tetrakarn.

While the specific Archetypes you choose are flexible, prioritize those that meet the above criteria and avoid weaknesses to Dark, Light, or Slash. If you have access to multiple Archetypes and can use Skill Inheritance, focus on Strength-heavy Archetypes. Ensure at least two party members have party-wide healing spells, and equip everyone with a Strike Attack to maximize Press Turn Icons and manage the health loss from these skills.

Success in this battle hinges on a degree of luck, particularly in surviving consecutive Megidolaons. Equipping most of your party with Dark and Light dodge can help end the enemy's turn more quickly. If the Faithwight Magileto summons allies, prioritize eliminating them swiftly before they can heal the main enemy. Bringing the Dekaja skill to dispel buffs from summoned enemies can be beneficial, but your primary strategy should involve executing at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells each turn.
