Enhanced Xbox Game Pass Rewards Program Launches January 7th
Starting January 7th, Xbox Game Pass is significantly upgrading its rewards program, introducing Quests for PC users and enhancing point-earning opportunities. However, access to these new features is exclusively for players aged 18 and older, reflecting Microsoft's commitment to age-appropriate gaming experiences.
This expansion means PC Game Pass subscribers (18+) will now join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in accessing Quests and the Rewards Hub. The Rewards Hub, accessible via the Xbox console, Windows PC app, and mobile app, will no longer be available to users under 18.
The revamped system offers a streamlined approach to earning rewards, with daily, weekly, and monthly quests. These include:
- Daily Play: Earn 10 points daily by playing any Game Pass title for at least 15 minutes.
- Weekly Streaks: Playing for at least five days a week earns points, with multipliers increasing for consecutive weeks (2x for two weeks, 3x for three, and 4x for four or more).
- Monthly Packs: Explore the Game Pass catalog by playing four (Monthly 4-Pack) or eight (Monthly 8-Pack) different games (15 minutes each) per month. The 4-Pack games count towards the 8-Pack.
- PC Weekly Bonus: PC players (18+) earn a 150-point bonus for playing at least 15 minutes on five or more days of the week.
All quests require a minimum of 15 minutes of playtime per game and only apply to titles within the Game Pass catalog (excluding those using third-party launchers). Players under 18 will only be able to earn rewards through parental purchases of eligible items from the Microsoft Store.
