Parallel Experiment, the cooperative puzzle game from Eleven Puzzles, has been delayed. Originally slated for a March Steam launch, the game will now release on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This delay allows for the inclusion of all planned content, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, initially considered for removal to meet the earlier deadline. The good news? Cross-play will be available from day one.
Step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog as you unravel the mysteries of a twisted experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Solve over 80 interconnected puzzles, requiring teamwork and communication to progress. Expect a diverse range of challenges: deciphering codes, manipulating water flows, hacking computers, and even dealing with a less-than-sober individual. The noir-inspired setting and comic book art style create an immersive and thrilling experience.
But it's not all serious investigation! Between puzzles, engage in retro-style mini-games like darts, claw machines, and match-three challenges, all with a cooperative twist. Interactive dialogues with dynamic NPC responses add depth to the narrative, while opportunities to playfully annoy your partner—knocking on windows, shaking screens, or doodling in your notebook—inject some lighthearted fun.
Parallel Experiment boasts five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous game, promising a richer and more engaging cooperative experience. The game launches June 5th. Visit the Steam page for more details. In the meantime, check out our list of the best puzzle games on iOS!
