The Steely Resolve event in Pokémon GO brings the highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—to the game on January 21st. This follows a teaser in the December 2024 Dual Destiny Season loading screen, which piqued player interest.
The event, running from January 21st, 10 am to January 26th, 8 pm local time, includes:
New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight will make their debut.
Event Features:
- Dual Destiny Special Research: Offering new rewards.
- Field Research Tasks: Providing opportunities for various encounters and rewards.
- Paid Timed Research: A $5 option with additional rewards.
- Increased Spawns: Boosted spawns for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and others (some shiny-capable).
- Magnetic Lure Modules: Attracting Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
- Shadow Pokémon Attack Reset: Use a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
- Raids: Featuring one-star raids (Lickitung, Skorupi, Pancham, Amaura), five-star raids (Deoxys Attack/Defense Forme, then Dialga), and Mega Raids (Mega Gallade, then Mega Medicham). Some raid Pokémon are shiny-capable.
- 2km Eggs: Offering Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, and Rookidee (some shiny-capable).

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st - 26th):
- Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards, increased daily battle set limit (20 sets, 100 battles), free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes, and varied IV spreads on Pokémon encountered via GO Battle League rewards.
- Leagues: Master League, Great League, Ultra League (with 4x Stardust bonuses for wins in select periods).
