Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza
Pokemon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close its doors at the end of March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will simultaneously launch in March.
New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima
The store will move to the second floor of Ekie, located at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently situated on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the store's relocation marks a significant change since its opening in June 2015.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, part of the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its opening; details will be released on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event will be held at Pokemon Centers across Japan (excluding Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe) before the Hiroshima location's closure.
Fans can receive a free original sticker by providing a password obtained from a "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024). Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with the show's hosts.
The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025.
