by Sadie Dec 18,2024

Good news for Gundam fans! SD Gundam G Generation Eternal, the latest strategy JRPG in the franchise, is alive and well and preparing for a network test! This test, open to players in the US, Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, offers 1500 lucky participants a sneak peek from January 23rd to 28th, 2025. Applications are now open until December 7th.

This installment lets players command a massive roster of pilots and mecha from the entire Gundam universe in grid-based strategic battles. For those unfamiliar, SD Gundam features "super deformed" versions of iconic mecha – smaller, stylized kits that were once even more popular than the originals!

US Release Awaits

In the meantime, strategy game enthusiasts might enjoy Cristina Mesesan's review of the newly ported iOS and Android version of Total War: Empire.
