How to Use Sprays & Emotes in Marvel Rivals

by Dylan Mar 15,2025

In *Marvel Rivals*, expressing your style is just as important as dominating the battlefield. While you're busy embodying your favorite Marvel heroes and villains, don't forget the flair! This guide shows you how to unleash your sprays and emotes.

Using Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals

To show off your chosen spray or emote, simply hold down the 'T' key during a match. This will bring up your cosmetics wheel, allowing you to select and deploy your chosen visual effect.

Prefer a different key? No problem! Head to the settings menu to customize your keybinds and choose your preferred button for quick access.

Remember: You'll need to equip sprays and emotes individually for each character. There's no universal setting to apply cosmetics across your entire roster. To equip them, navigate to the hero gallery from the main menu, select your character, go to the "Cosmetics" tab, and then choose "Costumes," "MVP," "Emotes," or "Sprays" to equip your favorites.

Unlocking More Sprays in Marvel Rivals

While many Marvel Rivals cosmetics are available through the Battle Pass's Luxury track (requiring real-money purchases), you can still snag some for free!

Complete daily and event missions to earn Chrono Tokens. These tokens unlock cosmetics via the Battle Pass's free track. Additionally, improving your proficiency with individual characters can also unlock new cosmetic rewards.

That's all there is to it! Now go forth and unleash your personalized Marvel style. For more Marvel Rivals tips and tricks, including details on the Competitive mode rank reset and the meaning of SVP, be sure to check out The Escapist.
