Tencent Pushes Back The Hidden Ones Pre-Alpha Playtest to Next Month

The highly anticipated pre-alpha playtest for The Hidden Ones, the action brawler based on the popular Hitori No Shita: The Outcast universe, has been delayed. Originally slated for next week, Tencent Games and MoreFun Studios have pushed the playtest back to February 27th, 2025. This two-month extension will allow the developers to refine the game and ensure a superior player experience. The announcement was made via the game's official website.

Delving into the Martial Arts World of The Hidden Ones

The Hidden Ones immerses players in a thrilling martial arts world steeped in Eastern philosophy, blending Taoism, Yin Yang, and modern settings. Players will master unique character abilities and unravel a cinematic storyline centered around the Outcasts.

Gameplay features include:

  • Epic Boss Battles: Face increasingly challenging bosses, each tied to a chapter of the Hitori No Shita saga and evolving alongside the player.
  • Duel Mode: Engage in intense player-versus-player combat.
  • Action Roulette: Dynamically acquire opponent skills mid-battle.
  • Trial Mode: Test your skills in a grueling series of boss fights, demanding mastery of diverse characters and fighting styles.
