How To Track Traces of the Comet in the Mountains in *Fortnite* Chapter 6
The third stage of The Spirit Realm Quests might seem daunting. You need to find three comet traces in a mountain range southwest of the map, but with seven possible locations, efficiency is key.
The most efficient strategy is to head to the mountain south of Warrior’s Watch. Two traces are located on the mountain directly behind the POI, with another on a nearby peak. However, because these quests offer substantial XP, many players tackle them simultaneously. Landing directly on the mountain at the start of the match is risky. Instead, land at Warrior’s Watch, loot up, and then head to the mountains. The traces aren't going anywhere.
Locating the traces requires a keen eye. They glow white and display a magnifying glass icon, but only when you're quite close. Use your map; place a marker on your target trace to avoid getting lost or unexpectedly engaging in combat before completing the challenge.
