War Thunder Mobile's Open Beta for Air Battles Takes Flight!
Gaijin Entertainment has launched the open beta for air battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat action. This update introduces over 100 aircraft from three nations (with more to come!), expanding the game beyond its previous naval and ground support integrations. The open beta introduces a full-fledged aerial tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.
Dive into the skies with aircraft from the USA, Germany, and the USSR, featuring iconic planes like the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. Players can choose to specialize in one nation's tech tree or diversify their fleet. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired via blueprints earned in in-game events, with the first event beginning in early October.
The open beta also unveils a new Aviation campaign, featuring an aircraft hangar for managing your planes, researching tech trees, and upgrading crews. Squadrons of up to four aircraft can be formed, allowing for customization of aircraft and armaments. See the action in the trailer below:
Exploring the Aircraft Hangar:
The aircraft hangar is your central hub between battles. Manage your vehicles, customize camouflage, explore the tech tree, and invite friends to your squadron. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify armaments, or upgrade crews. Squadrons can be composed of any aircraft regardless of class, nation, or rank.
