Jurassic Park Movies in Chronological Order
(Mild spoilers ahead regarding characters, settings, and plot points.)
1. Jurassic Park (1993)

The chronological order largely mirrors the release order, with only the shorts and Netflix series requiring further clarification. Jurassic Park adapts Crichton's novel, introducing the core concept: cloned dinosaurs populate a theme park (Isla Nublar) thanks to DNA extracted from ancient mosquitoes. Paleontologist Alan Grant, paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, and mathematician Ian Malcolm arrive to assess the park's safety, joined by Lex and Tim Murphy. A storm and sabotage disable security, unleashing chaos as they fight for survival against velociraptors and a T-Rex.
