Set in a post-apocalyptic New Eridu, players take on the role of "Proxy," navigating the last human city after a devastating event known as the Hollows. This departure from MiHoYo's usual sci-fi and fantasy settings into urban fantasy could be their biggest success yet.

Zenless Zone Zero's July 4th launch adds to MiHoYo's already impressive portfolio, built on the phenomenal success of Genshin Impact. The game's unique urban fantasy setting, distinct from the Honkai series and Genshin Impact, is highlighted by its strong musical presence, prominently featured in the livestream.
