InZOI, a life simulation game aiming for realistic visuals and immersive gameplay, will feature dynamic seasons and weather in its base version, unlike competitor The Sims. This was confirmed by Creative Director Hengjun Kim.
The game, boasting detailed characters (called Zois) and an open world, will require players to adapt to changing weather. Failure to dress appropriately could lead to consequences, from minor illnesses to serious health issues, even death. This applies to both extreme heat and cold.
Launching in early access on March 28, 2025, InZOI will include full voiceovers and subtitles (as detailed on its Steam page). Krafton, the developer, anticipates supporting the game for at least 10 years, aiming for a 20-year lifespan. The inclusion of realistic weather and seasonal changes is a key differentiator, setting InZOI apart from its competitors.
