The OBD Arny application is your go-to solution for car diagnostics, utilizing the OBD2 standard to read and reset trouble codes/errors. To use this powerful tool, you'll need an ELM327 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi adapter to connect to your vehicle. Make sure your car is OBD2 compatible. For the best experience, opt for ELM adapters with version 1.5, as version 2.1 can sometimes be problematic.
Getting started with OBD Arny is straightforward:
- Download the Obd Arny app.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device.
- Discover your ELM adapter if you're using the Bluetooth version.
- Select your adapter within the app's settings.
- Begin scanning your vehicle, and you're all set!
With Obd Arny, you can perform a range of diagnostics:
- Scan and retrieve basic vehicle information according to the OBD2 standard.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, including reading and clearing trouble codes (DTC) from the electronic control unit (ECU).
- Monitor live data such as speed, RPM, engine coolant temperature, engine load, short/long term fuel trim, fuel and air pressure, among others.
If you want to explore the app without connecting to a vehicle, you can activate demo mode, which doesn't require an ELM327 Bluetooth device operating under the OBD2 protocol.
While the free version of Obd Arny has limited functionality, you can upgrade to the full version to unlock additional features:
- An ad-free experience.
- Access to diagnostic trouble codes previously hidden by asterisks in the free version.
- The ability to monitor up to 10 live data parameters instead of just 3.
- Access to freeze frame data.
It's important to note that the number of supported live data parameters is determined by your vehicle, not the version of the app.
For any support requests, feel free to contact us through the designated button in the app's menu and use your email application.
