System requirements are minimal: A PC (Windows 7 or later) with internet access and a free USB port, or a smartphone/tablet (iOS or Android). Programming and control are straightforward via Windows 7 (or later), iOS, or Android using Wi-Fi and a USB cable. Furthermore, the PIKO SmartProgrammer functions as a standalone mini-control center, capable of managing individual locomotives or even programming automated sequences, such as for automatic shuttle train operation in displays or on a desktop.
