This portable media player is not just any device; it's a versatile UPnP DLNA DMR that elevates your media experience. With support for SSA/ASS/SUP subtitles, it's designed to cater to your viewing preferences, ensuring you enjoy your content exactly how you want.
The player's compatibility with UPnP DLNA allows it to function seamlessly as a DMR, enabling you to access your media files through the user-moderated Storage Access Framework (SAF). This feature ensures that you have full control over your media library.
For subtitle enthusiasts, the player offers robust support for SSA/ASS subtitles, complete with the ability to add or manage your own font files. You can adjust the brightness of SSA/ASS subtitles to better suit HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback, ensuring they don't overpower the high contrast and brightness of your content. Plus, the font size is fully customizable to your liking.
Starting from version 5.1, the player also supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats. Whether these subtitles are embedded in MKV files or side-loaded, you have the flexibility to select a single subtitle file or use a package in Zip/7Z/RAR format during playback.
Beyond subtitles, this media player is equipped to handle HDR/DV content, offering digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, audio track selection with delay options, and subtitle selection with time offset adjustments. It also displays the frame rate and automatically adjusts the refresh rate for optimal viewing.
For those using an NVidia Shield TV 2019, Dolby Vision playback is supported, ensuring you get the best visual experience possible. The player also allows for on-demand video rotation and full-screen zooming via pinch gestures, adding to your control over the viewing experience.
Originally designed for segmented files playback, the player supports m3u8 (HLS media list) format, which, while traditionally used for TS files, now also accommodates mp4 and flv files.
