Squares: Conquer the Daily Word Grid Challenge!

Squares is a captivating daily word puzzle that blends strategy and vocabulary. Your mission: complete squares on a grid to create words and maximize your score.

How to Play:

Connect letters in any direction – up, down, left, right, or diagonally – to form words. The goal is to uncover all words on the grid and achieve the highest possible score.

Game Rules:

• Scoring: Earn one point for each letter in a word (minimum 4 letters). A five-letter word earns 5 points.
• Letter Usage: Each tile can only be used once per word.
• Word Restrictions: Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and uncommon terms are excluded.

Bonus Challenges:

• Bonus Words: Discover obscure, archaic, or slang terms for bonus points. These words don't add to your main score but appear in a separate list. You can hunt for these even after finding all main words.
• Word of the Day: Each puzzle features a special, often longer bonus word. Finding it rewards you with two extra hints!

Game Features:

• Daily Puzzle: A new challenge awaits every day at midnight.
• Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid left or right to gain a fresh perspective and uncover hidden words.
• Hints: After finding 40% of the words, you'll receive a hint showing how many words start with each letter (a number on the letter; 0 means no words start with that letter). Orange letters are no longer used in main words but may be in bonus words. Each puzzle offers 3-5 hints (lightbulb icon), revealing a random word's first letter and search direction. Sharing the game link earns you an extra hint!
