For Mathematical Puzzle Lovers
The Towers of Hanoi, also known as the Tower of Brahma or Lucas' Tower, is a mathematical puzzle. It features three rods and a number of disks of varying sizes, stacked from largest to smallest on one rod, resembling a cone. The objective is to move all disks from the starting rod to the target rod using the fewest moves possible, adhering to these rules:
- Only one disk can be moved at a time.
- Only the topmost disk can be moved.
- A larger disk cannot be placed on top of a smaller disk.
The game progresses through levels. Each level completes when all disks are moved to the target rod, adding a new disk to the starting rod for the next level, increasing complexity.
Upon completing a level, an end-level dialogue displays:
- The level number completed.
- The completion time.
- Whether a time record was achieved.
- A three-star ranking based on minimal moves, no errors, and a time record.
Winning requires completing 7 levels. A final results chart summarizes completed levels, times, records, good/bad moves, three-star rankings, and achievement progress. Six achievements are available:
Achievements:
- The First 3 Stars: Achieving a first three-star ranking.
- 3 Impeccable Levels: Achieving three consecutive three-star rankings.
- 4 Consecutive Time Records: Achieving four consecutive time records.
- Unstoppable!: Achieving five time records.
- Game Completed: Completing all levels.
- Best Game Time: Completing the game in the minimal time.
We hope you enjoy this fun mathematical game!
