Its journey back is filled with diverse experiences—from traveling with a desert caravan, crossing the sea on a pirate ship, to exploring Spain and France. Once safely home, the cuckoo resolves to return to Africa every winter, cherishing the wonders it discovered. Thus, it becomes a migratory bird.
As the cuckoo travels through different locales, 'The Oasis of Douz' immerses you in the unique musical styles of each region. You'll be transported by the sounds of a desert caravan, the spirited Spanish malaguena, the charming French musette, and the thrill of a wild boat ride, among others. This tale not only entertains but also celebrates the musical heritage of these diverse areas in a fun and engaging way.
