Town of Salem is a thrilling game of social deduction, where murder, accusations, and deception reign supreme. Players are randomly assigned secret roles – Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals – and must use their wits to survive.
Gameplay Overview
Games involve 7 to 15 players vying for victory. Town members (the good guys) must identify and eliminate the villains before they're all eliminated. The challenge? You won't know who's on your side. Evil roles, such as Serial Killers, secretly eliminate Town members during the night, aiming to blend in and avoid detection.

Game Phases: A Cycle of Suspicion and Action
The game unfolds in distinct phases:
- Night Phase: Most roles activate their abilities here. Serial Killers strike, Doctors offer protection, and Sheriffs investigate.
- Day Phase: Town members discuss their suspicions and deliberate on who to accuse. A majority vote sends a player to trial.
- Defense Phase: The accused pleads their case to the Town, needing a compelling argument to avoid execution.
- Judgement Phase: The Town votes (guilty, innocent, or abstain). A guilty verdict results in hanging.
