A former nun must defend a monster. Silent, she relies on her companion's voice. Together, they spend a night in a walled town, haunted by past tragedies. Invited to an All Hallows' Eve banquet by the town's master, alongside three others, a scream shatters the peace as the moon wanes – the scent of blood fills the air. The companion is accused of murder; his monstrous transformation makes him the easiest scapegoat. Deception is woven into the curse. Can innocence be proven to these strangers before sundown?
