What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. The story is set in the world of high school volleyball and follows the journey of Karasuno High School, once known as the "fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they aim for the top.
The series centers around the passionate protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who is captivated by volleyball, and a cast of unique characters. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical version, serving as a sequel to the anime, would be produced.
