A newly discovered glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone allows players to apply Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos to Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, requires a friend and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match.
The glitch exploits a loophole in the game's systems, enabling players to circumvent the intended camo restrictions. Many players consider the ability to use MW3 camos on BO6 weapons a desirable feature, particularly given the prevalence of BO6 meta weapons in Warzone. The extensive grind required to unlock mastery camos in BO6, such as Dark Matter, makes this glitch appealing to those who've already achieved this in MW3.
How to Execute the Glitch (Requires Two Players):
- Start a private Warzone match.
- Player 1 equips a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot.
- Player 1 joins Player 2's lobby.
- Player 1 equips an MW3 weapon in their first loadout slot and rapidly selects the desired camo.
- Player 2 switches to a private match.
- Player 2 leaves the private match.
- Player 1 repeatedly selects the camo on the BO6 weapon.
- Player 2 rejoins the private match.
- The camo should now be applied to the BO6 weapon.
Important Note: This is an unofficial method and is subject to removal in future updates by Treyarch Studios and Raven Software.
Separately, Treyarch has announced plans to introduce an in-game challenge tracking system for BO6, a feature previously available in MW3 and highly requested by players. This update aims to improve the challenge tracking experience for those diligently working towards unlocking BO6 mastery camos.
