Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, will initially debut in Canada. However, a worldwide launch is planned for the first half of the year.
Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, explore a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure loot. Characters encompass a range of fantasy archetypes, including fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.
Following the success of Ironmace's PC version, Krafton secured the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are underway before the global launch.
Enhancements on the Horizon
Key updates include revisions to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, optimized for smoother party gameplay. Class distinctions will be sharpened through enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics. A broader arsenal of weapons and skills is also in development.
