Dave the Diver New DLC and New Games Revealed in AMA

MINTROCKET, the developers behind the popular game Dave the Diver, recently held an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit, revealing exciting news about upcoming content. The studio announced a new story DLC slated for release in 2025, alongside the development of entirely new games. While details on these new titles remain scarce, the developers confirmed a separate team is dedicated to their creation.

The AMA addressed numerous fan questions, primarily focusing on the game's future expansions and potential sequels. The developers expressed their continued commitment to Dave the Diver's narrative and characters, assuring fans that new content is on the horizon. Their immediate focus, however, remains on the upcoming story DLC and quality-of-life updates.

Collaborations also took center stage. Dave the Diver has previously partnered with franchises like Godzilla and Goddess of Victory: Nikke, resulting in engaging crossovers. The developers shared anecdotes about their collaborative experiences, highlighting both initiated and received partnership requests. They expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations, mentioning dream partnerships with titles like Subnautica, ABZU, and BioShock, as well as a desire to work with more artists.

Despite its widespread popularity, Dave the Diver remains unavailable on Xbox consoles and Game Pass. While the developers expressed a desire to bring the game to this platform, they confirmed that their current development schedule prevents them from pursuing it immediately. This statement clarifies previous speculation regarding a July 2024 release. Although disappointing for Xbox players, the possibility of future Xbox availability remains open. The focus for now remains firmly on the delivery of the highly anticipated story DLC and the continued development of new and exciting projects.
