Netmarble's popular mobile beat 'em up, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is slated for closure on October 30th, 2024. This announcement, made via the official Netmarble channels, confirms the cessation of in-app purchases, effective immediately.

The closure comes as a surprise, considering the game's six-year run and numerous successful collaborations with other prominent fighting game franchises. The developer cited a potential factor in their announcement: a dwindling pool of characters to adapt from the King of Fighters roster, although this is likely not the sole reason.
