Mark your calendars! Fuecoco, the adorable Fire Croc Pokémon, ignites March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns, boosting your chances of catching a Shiny Fuecoco.

Evolving your Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn—but only within one week of the event. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, anytime.

A special Timed Research event runs concurrently, offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing the research further enhances your Shiny Fuecoco encounter rate! This Timed Research is available until March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).

For an extra boost, a $2.00 Community Day Special Research ticket grants three Fuecoco encounters (each with a Seasonal Special Background), Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. Gift this ticket to friends who are at least Great Friends!

Pokémon GO has revealed a sizzling lineup of Community Day events through May! Get ready for:

  • Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events bring back popular Pokémon from previous Community Days, like Ralts (originally featured in August 2019, and recently in January 2025). The other dates will feature brand-new Pokémon—stay tuned for announcements!

The Beloved Buddies event, featuring the debut of Dhelmise, offers a Timed Research with two paths: one featuring Candela (Team Valor), and the other featuring Arlo (Team GO Rocket).

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choose your path wisely!

Candela's Path: Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
