In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the interactions with NPCs can lead to engaging side quests, and one of the most unique encounters happens with Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village. This quest involves helping Lyonchyk deliver a joke to his fellow stalkers, aiming to be invited into their circle and potentially make new friends. It's easy to overlook this charming interaction if you're solely focused on main missions, so let's dive into how to find and complete the Joke quest in the Rookie Village.
How to Complete the Joke Quest from Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village
To start, locate Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village within the Cordon region of *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. As you approach the center of the village, Lyonchyk will call out to Skif, initiating a conversation where he attempts to tell a joke but fails. This leads to his request for help in delivering a joke to a group of stalkers by the bonfire, hoping to befriend them. Agree to his request to begin the quest.
Help Lyonchyk Sprat Tell a Joke
Once the quest is underway, Lyonchyk instructs Skif to climb up to the attic and wait for his signal. Turn around from where you're standing, and you'll see a ladder leading to the attic of a nearby house, right next to the bonfire. Ascend the ladder and position yourself in the attic to advance the quest.
You'll be presented with various joke options, each eliciting a different reaction from the audience. Regardless of which option you choose, Lyonchyk will successfully deliver the joke, and the quest will be marked as completed.
Receiving Reward from Lyonchyk
After the interaction, descend from the attic and find Lyonchyk Sprat waiting at the same spot where you first met him. He'll express his gratitude for helping him join the stalker circle and reward Skif with 900 coupons.
However, if you choose not to select any prompt and let Lyonchyk attempt the joke on his own, the quest will fail. In this case, Lyonchyk will flee from the group at the bonfire and be found crying beside a house, blaming Skif for abandoning him.
