Konami's developers have shared updates on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated in a recent 4Gamer interview, "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He confirmed the remake is fully playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on polishing details and enhancing overall quality.
While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, that timeline proved unrealistic. The current target, according to studio sources, is a 2025 launch across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake promises to retain the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. Clocking in at over two minutes, the trailer showcases intense action sequences, including key characters, an airdrop, and a thrilling firefight.
